6 Calming Online Yoga Classes to Take During Quarantine

The stress of the unknown surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine can take a huge toll on our physical and mental health.

Whether you’re spending more time on the couch than usual, running around the house trying to come up with activities for the kids, or working hard in the countless industries making sure we have what we need (can we hear it for health care employees, grocers, delivery drivers, mail carriers, sanitation employees, and countless other heros working overtime for us?!).

Despite all the content out there telling you to make the most of your quarantine and to start crushing that to-do list that’s been building up for months, you don’t have to be productive during this quarantine.

Not only is the entire COVID-19 quarantine stress-inducing, many of us are trying to juggle multiple roles and stay calm on top of it.

The top priority right now should be your mental and physical wellbeing. If you’re not feeling that to-do list, be kind to yourself.

Instead, opt to do something that makes you feel good. From doing acts of self-care to maintaining (or starting!) a regular yoga practice, there are many things we can do to stay calm, healthy, and grounded.

If you’re feeling tired and uninspired, rest assured the online yoga classes and guided meditations on this list are focused on finding a sense of peace during this time of uncertainty.

Amidst COVID-19 Quarantine, Turn to Online Yoga Classes to Relieve Stress and Get Grounded

Now more than ever, it’s important to focus on the present.

While we can’t control what’s happening in the world or the fact that social distancing is here to stay for a bit, we can each do our best to find time to focus on ourselves, our breath, and self-care practices like yoga to counteract the effects of stress.

We are all in this together. And we will all get through this together.
