Yoga Sexualized in Bud Lite Super Bowl Commercial
On a positive note, YOGA made the cut for a Bud Lite Super Bowl commercial back in 2011. On a not-so-positive note, this commercial was super sexist and completely missed the point of what yoga is all about (hint: it is certainly not about women wearing skin tight clothing for men to gawk at – gross!).
So yogis – what’s your take? It’s been 5 years since that ad aired and the popularity of yoga is at an all time high. Is yoga going to make the cut this year? Are there hopes for a more refined outlook on yoga to be portrayed in this year’s Super Bowl commercials? We certainly hope so!
