Follow these pro tips to make sure you enjoy every last drop your hot springs of choice has to offer.

1. Go During the Week

This will help you avoid the crowds! Colorado is exploding in popularity, and that means fighting for parking spots, open trails, and of course, your place in the hot springs. Going during the week is your best bet, but if you’re not able to do that, try getting there early in the morning.

2. It’s Better Naked

Secluded in some of nature’s most beautiful and isolated destinations, the hot springs are the perfect place to strip down and leave your inhibitions in the city. Just make sure you check the rules before losing your undies – some hot springs listed have clothing requirements.

3. Stay Hydrated

Between the hike, the altitude, and the heat of the hot springs water, it’s oh-so-important to stay refreshed and energized! Be sure to bring plenty of water (no glass please), and if you’re looking for a flavorful pick-me-up, try our fan favorite Peg Leg Pineapple Iced Yerbe Maté!
