Pepper Bras Claim They’re Designed to Perfectly Fit Small Boobs, So We Tested Them Out

When it comes to product reviews, we don’t mess around. All of the items we review are put through the ringer of everyday use. You can trust that our reviews are non-biased and completely honest. Full disclosure: we don’t publish negative reviews. If a product doesn’t live up to our standards, we simply won’t promote it. Everyone has their own opinion – this is ours. Let’s get started.

Bras for small boobs aren’t always created equal. While there are a million bras on the market, those of us with smaller boobs can face a serious struggle finding a bra that truly fits.

If you’re an A or AA cup, it can be an eternal struggle to find a bra that actually flatters and feels sexy and doesn’t feel like it’s made for a 12-year old’s body.

I’ve experienced this struggle for much of my life myself. Especially recently after going through Breast Implant Illness and an explant surgery and returning to my natural, small-boobed size.

I wrote an article about my Breast Implant Illness and explant experience, and you can read about that here

While bralettes and sports bras are great, sometimes you want a “real” bra and should have that option, regardless of your cup size!

Enter the Pepper Bra.

Maybe you’ve seen Pepper advertise. Their slogan claims that their bras are “Designed to perfectly fit small boobs.” With such an alluring claim, we had to test them out for ourselves, and the results are in . . .

Pepper bras are designed for A, AA, and B cups, featuring shallower cups designed to flatter small breasts without awkward gapping, while giving you some lift without the excessive padding bras often have. Pepper makes wired and wirefree styles, plain or with pretty lace, in black, white, nude, and grey colors.

Read on to learn about Pepper bras, our experience testing them, and the details you need to know if you’re considering a Pepper bra for yourself.

We Review Pepper Bras for Small Boobs:

For this review, we tested out two of the three bra styles that Pepper offers: the Laidback Lace Bra (a more traditional-style bra with underwire) as well as the Limitless Wirefree Bra (a soft-cupped option with some lift).

Pepper also offers the All You Bra, which seems like a happy medium to the two bras we tried (but you’ll have to try that one out for yourself and report back!). It retails for $49.00.

The Limitless Bra has super-soft fabric made from a polyester and spandex blend, and no wires – just boob-hugging scoops with some lift and a low neckline, so you can wear it with most tops. It retails for $48.00 USD.

The Laidback Lace Bra is a more “dressed up” version, with underwire, soft cups made for smaller boobs (as all Pepper styles are), and accented with delicate lace. It retails for $54.00.

Now, we’ll move on to our experience wearing and testing out the two Pepper bra styles.

How Do the Pepper Bras Fit and Feel Throughout the Day?

I’ve tried many well-known brands of bras and nothing ever fit without feeling overly padded, or gapping and slipping off my shoulders – frustration I’m sure many of you can relate to. Upon trying on the Laidback Bra, I immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Like, finally.

While you can feel the wires like any bra with underwire, it doesn’t dig in or feel uncomfortable – a common complaint with typical wire bras.

I was equally impressed with the Limitless Wirefree Bra, which was super-comfy on and very soft to the touch. Even with small and asymmetrical breasts, I noticed no gapping, slipping, or cutting into my chest around the band. It’s so comfortable to wear, I can literally sleep in it (and have).

Both bra styles are flattering, fit well and comfortably, and gave me noticeable, natural looking lift. I felt like the cleavage was all me, and not artificially boosted from too much padding.

Who Is Pepper’s Laidback Lace Bra Good For?

Consider Pepper’s Laidback Bra your going out bra that’s also casual and comfy enough to wear on the daily. If you’re wanting a little extra something, the wire lift will give you that, plus the lacey detail makes you feel sexy while being subtle enough for daily wear.

@luciebfink

The Laidback Bra has been flattering in everything I’ve worn it under – including a slouchy tee that tends to be clingy, as well as the form-hugging dress that’s always unforgiving. A friend commented and asked what bra I was wearing, since it gave me actual cleavage, which never happens!

If you tend to wear tighter clothing, this bra is a great choice.

Who Is Pepper’s Limitless Wirefree Bra Good For?

If you’re looking for super comfy and can’t stand wires, this one’s got your name on it. The wirefree bra is pillow-soft and cushy, but still, somewhat surprisingly, gives you support and moderate lift. If you’re wanting the feel of a plain, comfy bra but with the flattering look of a “real bra”, you’ll love this.

I was surprised that this wire-free bra actually showed up tighter under tops (the outline of the bra around the cup was visible). So, this bra is a better option if you tend to wear looser, less form-fitting clothing.

Other Details to Know About Pepper Bras

First off, where can you get them? At this time, Pepper only ships within the U.S., but are also available in retail shops in Europe and Australia. Shipping: you can expect your package in 7-10 business days in most cases, and returns are free.

Sizing for Pepper bras is a little different than most. The site gives you a unique formula to take your measurements and find the most accurate size – subtracting your band size from your bust measurement (so it’s not your standard 32A, 34A, etc).

It’s important to note that Pepper bras do tend to run small, so you may want to order up if you’re between sizes.
