Did you know that the average woman uses more than 15 skincare and beautiful products each day, and each of those products can have 20 or more toxins each? When you decide to make the switch from conventional to non-toxic organic and natural products, the marketplace can be overwhelming. There are thousands of companies in the market today that offer natural and organic products, but how do you know what is right for you?
Enter Blissmo, a monthly subscription box company that delivers organic, non-toxic and eco-friendly products. Blissmo utilizes the resources of the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep database, which rates the safety of cosmetics and personal care items, for the curation of their products.
I received the February box and it came four products:
• Void Beauty Nail Polish: The 5-free nail polish I received was Silver Lining – how cool is that name? I’m a huge fan of silver and I find the color to be gorgeous. The polish applied easily and with just one coat, my nails had an excellent layer of color. The polish dried quickly, so I was able to move on with my day without the dreaded 10-15 minute multi-tasking dance with semi-sticky nails.

• All Natural Terrasil Anti-Bacterial Skin Repair Ointment: I only use natural/organic products, but I did not have a natural anti-bacterial ointment for my first-aid kit until now. The semi-transparent cream has little-to-no scent and dries without an oily residue. While luckily I do not have any cuts or scrapes, I did apply it to my New Jersey cold-induced dry and cracking cuticles and it make them look nourished and presentable once again.

• Wyndmere Stress Relief Bath Salt: I love ending a long day with a relaxing soak in the bath and now I love these bath salts. I knew they were scented with lavender as the label lists lavender essential oil as the #2 ingredient after sea salts. Also, I can pronounce all of the ingredients on the label (a big plus for me) and the salts have a mixture of essential oils to create a relaxing aromatic experience.

• Poison Apple Apothecary Perfume Oil: This small sample of perfume oil has a mighty floral and rose big scent. While the sample is small, I only need a dab or two on each wrist, so the vial will last me through many wears.

If you are considering trying out this box, now is the right time. Use the coupon code yogi to save $10 off your first box, which typically sells for $19.95 + $4.95 shipping. With Blissmo, you can use your new products with the confidence between a high rating on the EWG database.
Blissmo is ideal for anyone who is concerned about the toxins in their beauty and personal care items and who would like personal curation to help them navigate the overwhelming organic beauty marketplace. For its high standards of products and commitment to healthy products, Blissmo is #YogiApproved.
